It is a rare thing to find an excellent restaurant in Rome that specializes on local food. As a rule, the visitors see heaps of fresh seafood displayed to persuade the clients that they are the best. Still Tempio di Iside is unique. This is an unpretentious small seafood restaurant in Rome. It is located on the ancient street of Rome Via Labicana – just several blocks from famous Colosseum in the center of Rome.

If you go to Il Tempio di Iside, it is better to do it on a hungry stomach. Fish is cooked by Japanese chef, who was specially invited to work. Fish is cooked in diverse ways and even treated raw. You can start your meal with one of the delicacies that can be served hot, cold or raw. It can be tuna tartare, shrimp carpaccio, toasted shrimp just to name a few. The meal can be followed by one of the following dishes: spaghetti with sea urchin, spaghietti with truffles, fusilli with Neapolitan cherry tomatoes, red shrimp and cheese, pappardelle with red fish, capers flowers and pecorino and so on.
