Osteria Santa Marina is a high-class charming restaurant with sophisticated approach to Venetian cooking. The integrity of classics is not lost at that. The young team of professionals offer their services at Osteria Santa Marina. They serve traditional Italian dishes and seafood. In addition to it, some very interesting innovations are offered as well there. It may seem at first sight that this is a casual pizza place with tidy interior but this is not so. The venue presents high-end dining experience.

The venue is located on a nice square and has a Michelin star. The convenient dining room with air conditioning is decorated in the old school style. Wood paneling creates a warm cozy interior.

The price for the meal varies from 50 to 80 euros. The restaurant has an external garden where visitors can try exquisite meals. You can dine at the outside tables but the interior is air-conditioned so it is not hot inside. The tables are lit with candles in a romantic way.

The atmosphere is very welcoming. Refined and elegant décor of meals contributes to any festive occasion. Tasting menus start from 75 Euros. Lunch and dinner will cost you about 65 Euros.

The cuisine can be described as “creative Venetian”.  The star dishes are scampi in saor, which is a Venetian classic dish, though it is a little transformed: leeks and ginger are added it. Cicchetti di pesce is very nice. Order semifreddo al gorgonzola con canditi all’arancia for dessert.

There are some rather curious combinations, which are not risky though. The dishes with creative twist are liked by the clients. The wine list is extensive and presents international and regional labels.

Try orzotto the cuttlefish, the steamed squid and the warm chocolate cake. The price tag is expensive but extraordinary seafood cuisine with oriental touch justifies that. Squid Dumplings are great, but the dish does not resemble dumplings.

Every dish features some creative twist.  The home made bread is served at the restaurant. You should book the table in advance.
