Located in Mayfair, this restaurant continues the Cipriani style in the heart of London. It is Italian classic that will never go out of style, it’s the place for rich & famous, tabloids habitués and the hang out of best looking ladies in town. Celebrities are often guests at Cipriani, and paparazzi are making sure they are getting the best shot, so many of them kick their heels outside. Its definitely a trendy spot with posh atmosphere and well dressed clientele. I’ve read the reviews before where some customers complained about ‘extortionate’ prices, ‘bland’ food and ‘pretentious’ staff but strangely enough these people still come back to Cipriani because its only one of a kind. In a way this place blends chic and simple. Calm colours and ordinary décor, small wine glasses, white table cloths and big windows which fill the room with lots of light. I personally always had a fantastic meal when I came to eat my favourite Sole or spaghetti with veal ragù. Beef carpacco is fresh and tender, green salad adds a perfect zest to create the fireworks of exploding taste buds; tuna tar tar is simple but deliciously melts in a mouth. Cipriani makes the best bellini in the world and has great selection of wine for reasonable price. Restaurant managers Marco and Pier make Cipriani more charming as they welcome guests and treat everybody with a wide smile and genuine Italian hospitality. There is a rumour that Cipriani will soon make it to Moscow. Fingers crossed!
