Roscioli is the place where people could buy delicacies before. Now they can find the best international and Italian food in Roscioli that delivers outstanding catering service. The company decided to expand the list of services. It was the idea of Alessandro and Pierluigi Roscioli, when in 2002 they decided to turn the grocery into a deli with extraordinary restaurant.
The display case of delicacies is the first thing you see as you come to Roscioli. Italian and foreign delicacies of the finest quality are showcased there for sale because this is a shop also. You can be sure that restaurant dishes are prepared of freshest and top quality ingredients.
There is the longest counter you can imagine in the restaurant. The tables are placed close to each other. The brick walls with lines of numerous bottles contribute to special atmosphere to the place with an intimate setting and modern decor. The place has a nice layout though it is not so large. It can be hard to get the table at the place without reservation.
The dishes are simple and the perfection is achieved  with quality of food and exceptional balsamic vinegar added to most dishes. Many come for fantastic carbonara and pizza with delicious crust. Order different slices of pizza to try different flavors.
The list of wines is big. Some expensive labels cost several thousand euros per bottle.
Authentic Roman dishes are served here. Try Sicilian red tuna, Cantabric sea anchovies, hand-sliced prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella. The cured meats are great at the place. The place is good for customers with different budget. For instance, you can order pasta with a glass of wine for €24. Many customers just do not order dessert because the waiter brings dark melted chocolate with biscuits on the house, which is a nice touch and a pleasant surprise. It is certainly a must-try place.
There is a private tasting room at your disposal where you can try different wines, hams and cheezes. The price is €35-65 depending upon the day.
