Don Carlos is a restaurant with intimate and refined ambience. The interior is decorated with artworks from the Scala Theatre. The dishes of traditional Italian cuisine are lit with illumination of antique silver candelabra. The dining hall is decorated in traditional style with framed pictures hanged on the wall. The blend of luxury and retro creates a unique atmosphere at the restaurant. It was created to commemorate maestro Giuseppe Verdi who lived long in the Suite of the Grand Hotel et de Milan. At that place some operas were composed.
Agnelo Gangemi discovered his passion to cooking when he was a boy so he was keen to become a chef in the childhood. It happened out of necessity. His parents and older sister worked when he came home and he had to care about himself on his own. As he cooked, the passion to this activity grew.
