Light French cuisine in fancy surroundings of Avenue Montaigne. This restaurant is the center for European elite, everywhere you look are Chanel bags and diamonds’ sparkles even at lunch. There are chic boutiques, bright label signs and stunning Parisian mansions around L’Avenue café. This a favourite place in Paris for American singer Beyonce. And I understand why. It’s a very convenient location to stop for a glass of champagne or a quick snack after a hard day of shopping. For a more serious lunch I’d recommend grilled sole, snails in butter which are served on a bed of sea salt or original and tasty green beans salad. Simple crab salad comes with salad leaves and olive oil, the freshness of the crab is off the charts. It’s a French café, but it offers one of the best Italian dishes in Paris. Pasta is cooked al dente, with Mediterranean spices and thick sauce. The wine card is excellent, everybody can find a drink for the a taste and budget. The interior is nothing special, large panoramic windows, small tables next to each other on the first floor and outside terrace, lots of purple velvet on the walls and furniture on the second floor. The real decorations of this place are dressed up in couture guests and the reflection of Dior sign from the boutique next door.
