The Wolseley is a restaurant at Picadilly, London, that is located close to the Ritz Hotel. It was founded in 1921. The building was constructed to be a prestigious car showroom first. It was renovated in 2003.  The design of the restaurant features Venetian and Florentine motives. The venue is decorated with towering pillars and arches that create luxurious look. The restaurateurs Chris Corbin and Jeremy King began the renovation project with a goal to create the café in the Grand European style. It received lots of accolades after the venue was reopened in 2003.

The restaurant looks prestige. The color scheme is gold, crème and black. Though a little more than decade passed since its reopening, it enters numerous top lists.

The venue is known for its great breakfast with fantastic menu that includes steak tartare, oysters, soufflé Suisse, apple strudel, and wiener schnitzel. Every person can find the meal to his taste. There is also a Vegetarian menu for customers. The public coming here just as different as the menu. Taking the decision to meet the demands of diverse clients the restaurant succeeded in it so the place is popular among managers, housewives and companies of friends.

In 2005 and 2009 the Wolseley received the title “The Best Breakfast” from the Observer. Visit it to have breakfast from 7 a.m. (from Monday to Friday) and from 8 a.m. on the other days. Much attention is paid to it here as it is the first thing you do in the morning. The way your day starts determines the whole day. In 2007, the Wolseley was acknowledged the Tatler’s Restaurant of the Year. In 2012, it became the Zagat’s favorite restaurant and received the title again on the next year. In addition to being award-winning, the restaurant proved to be a profitable business that managed to earn about £10 million a year – a record-breaking sum in this sphere.

The restaurant was created to cater for all tastes so The Wolseley offers a wide selection of dishes. There is Private Dining room for 24 seats. It is seductively lit with Piccadilly lights in the evening.

There is a section of antique tableware on the site of the restaurant where the visitors can buy antique Edwardian teapot, coffee pot, or some other item.
